We drove to Hardwick in March. Twelve cups came out of the kiln; nine survived the glaze firing.
Marlow & Fig started as a market stall in 2018 selling ceramics from one potter. Now we carry about thirty makers — but the rule hasn't changed: someone from our team has stood in the workshop, watched the glaze go on, and would put the piece in their own kitchen before it goes on our shelf.
